Dr. Berislav Bošnjak

My Research Interest in RESIST

The initiation of T cell immune responses by dendritic cells lies in the center of protection from pathogens but also for the induction of allergic diseases. My research focus is the differences between antiviral and allergic T-cell response initiation. Moreover, I am interested in studying the interaction of those responses in vulnerable population groups, such as people with chronic infections or asthmaics. I have joined the RESIST as an associated investigator to contribute to the research on the T cell responses in human cytomegalovirus infections.
