RESIST researcher Professor Dr. Rolf Müller receives the most prestigious research funding prize in Germany: the German Research Foundation (DFG) awarded the managing director of the Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland (HIPS) the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize 2021 for his outstanding research achievements. This is the most highly endowed award regularly presented to scientists in Germany: Each year, the DFG awards up to ten prizes each with a prize money of 2.5 million euros. The Leibniz Prizes 2021 will be presented on the 15th of March. The HIPS is a site of the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI), Braunschweig, in cooperation with the University of Saarland.
