Just in time for this year’s summer network meeting on the afternoon of 13 June, the sun was shining so that the members of RESIST and their children could enjoy the reception area of TWINCORE and, above all, the meadow behind it: The speaker team, the scientists and the RESIST Office team were happy to see each other again, they chatted about the further funding of the Cluster of Excellence from January 2026 and further plans as well as privately and got to know each other (better).
The physical well-being was well catered for with an extensive buffet and an ice cream van that had travelled to the event, as was the children’s entertainment: the girls and boys were able to play numerous games with a pirate, enjoy thousands of small and countless giant soap bubbles and have their faces painted if they wished. Thanks to dance music and a fog machine, there was also a party atmosphere and even a visit from the cartoon character Stitch from the Lilo & Stitch series – which the “grown-ups” also enjoyed.
