The first RESIST Symposium

Herrenhausen Palace Herrenhäuser Str. 5, Hannover

Resolving Infection Susceptibility – this is what the acronym RESIST stands for. And this is also the motto of the symposium. In order to better understand the factors, underlying individual susceptibility to infections, experts are going to meet at the first "Hannover Symposium on Infection Susceptibility" on 30th of September and 1st of October 2019. RESIST introduced itself to Hanover

Herrenhausen Palace Herrenhäuser Str. 5, Hannover

If the immune system is too weak: RESIST researchers presented what they are working on – and for whom – with a panel discussion at Herrenhausen Palace conference centre on 1st of October. Patients and representatives of patient organisations as well as their physicians also presented their view on things. Everyone interested was invited and of course questions were welcome. Around 230 guests accepted the invitation and filled the hall. It was an exciting evening concerning the topic “susceptibility to infections” based on the fields premature birth, congenital immunodeficiencies, cystic fibrosis and hepatitis lies ahead.
