Among the students are eleven medical doctors and eight life scientists.<\/p>\n<p>The life scientists have a bachelor&#8217;s degree in biology, biotechnology, molecular and applied plant sciences, molecular biotechnology, molecular medicine (1x) or biomedicine \u2013 and they studied in Hannover, Freiburg, Braunschweig, W\u00fcrzburg or in Turkey. The medical students studied at the MHH, in M\u00fcnster, Cologne, G\u00f6ttingen, Magdeburg or Jena.<\/p>\n<p>At the evening event on 10 October, Prof. Dr. Michael Altenbuchinger from the University Medical Center G\u00f6ttingen will give a guest lecture entitled \u2018Machine Learning for omics data analyses\u2019. Prof. Dr. Helena Zacharias (PLRI) will moderate the event. During this week, students can get to know each other and meet lecturers.
