Together, we manage to care for people who fall ill or even die from viral or bacterial infections: at the limits of what is possible in research, we are exploring the world of viruses and bacteria as well as genes and the immune system in ever greater detail, thus creating the basis for better diagnoses and therapies.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"align-self: center;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-bottom:30px;width:100%;\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We conduct excellent, interdisciplinary research for people who are particularly susceptible to infections.
